How tough is this game and who will win?

It's gonna be tight but Middlesbrough has Downing to apply pressure down the wides and Reading have Hunt, if they play him, can confuse defences with smart balls. Close one to call but I'm going to say... Middlesbrough win, 1-0

Should be a good game. Reading wants into the top 4 and Boro are trying to crack the top 10. They'll both be fighting tooth and nail for the win. Outcome: Reading's need is greater, plus they work as a cohesive unit. Middlesbrough has 2 great forwards in Yakubu and Viduka, but their finishing can be spotty at times. I'm taking Reading, 2-1

It seems that Reading has some intangible strength that gets them results even under adversity. Wouldn't many teams be looking ahead to Man. U. on Tues.?

But they have to be confident that "everything" is "falling into place." Even when they are outplayed, they are getting results.

And they overcame 'Boro after dropping the two early goals in the opener. This should give a team like this even more confidence.

for me Reading have one of the best managers in the game...middlesborough on the other hand are a small club in yorkshire....who watch The Bill while N.U.F.C march on in Europe
