I think mine do. I am fairly convinced that I have several different dreams that sort of merge together until I wake up.So it becomes more muddled and events from years ago end up with events from a few days ago all put together into some unexplainable story. But why when the radio alarm goes off does the voice or music that is on seem to merge seamlessly into the dream?

yep this happens to me quite often. i think your right about dreams merging. the problem is when you wake up it's rare to remember a full dream but what you get are snippets and flashes and these seem to all be one dream. maybe they are but once awake it's hard to differentiate what went with what. as for the radio merging into your dream i think that's just your bodies/minds way of waking you gently rather than jolting you out of a dream. saves that feeling of displacement you get when your woken suddenly.

Sure they do, but there's always some hidden message. Sometimes the message is literal, sometimes it appears as an insignificant detail, sometimes it's transfered onto something that has nothing to do with it.
Your Subconscious creates all this. He's better than Spielberg....
There's also a "guardian" between your subconscious and conscious minds. He decides what to let pass and what not to. Like if the noise is not loud or disturbing enough, he will merge it into the dream so you keep sleeping, n charge up those batteries. If, on the other hand, you've programmed yourself to get up for smthing important, he won't merge noises into the dream. The conscious mind will inevitably take over.
