A lot of people on this site seem to believe asking a question is some kind of attack.

Don't they know it's all just a ride?

I was thinking leaderboard shenanigans and the 'polls and surveys' crew.

Good point about the catch 22 thing. How can we help them or is it not worth the effort?

"intelligent intercourse" LMFAO

I think if you post comments that are derogatory then people will assume you are a troll. If a Q sounds like it's condescending to users of Yahoo, then it will be interpreted as an attack on them. If a lot of people feel this, maybe the problems not with them.

Your last Q reads, "a Yahoo is a vile and savage creature, filthy and with unpleasant habits"

"Hence the term "Yahoo" has become synonymous with "cretin," "dinosaur," and/or "Neanderthal.""

This could well be an attempt of humor but it does seem to imply that you feel the users of Yahoo are cretins etc. with the Internet and written communications, one has to be careful with how things are phrased in order to avoid misinterpretation. Don't be put off with your experience so far, keep trying and you will become a more experienced Q writer with time and such confusions will be reduced.

I know from personal experience that the "P&S Crew" like good natured and funny Qs or Qs about everyday life or observation, perhaps they felt your Qs were a bit on the agressive side, this dosn't make them crazy, maybe they felt you were just attacking the good natured environment of P&S. If you are looking for more informative or intellectual content that perhaps another room would be a better option for you. There are people on Yahoo who are keen to share their experience and knowledge, but few if any have a negative view of the site that your Qs imply you have.

I think that many of us found this site, hoping that it would offer good, interesting, intellectual conversation and debate. Getting frustrated, or touchy as you put it, comes out of the disappointment in realizing that intelligent intercourse is impossible here....

I think the dude above meant to say "discourse" rather than "intercourse"....
Unless there is an aspect to yahoo I have not figured out yet...
