Kill him.

I was shopping with my grandmother in a crowded outdoor mall. We were walking arm in arm when suddenly I felt her being pulled away from me. Initially, when I turned around I didn't see her until I looked down and saw her on her knees, crying and holding out in front of her the only thing left of her purse -- the strap. My heart had stopped as had time. I was confused and bewildered and utterly saddened at the sight of my grandmother crying. I sat on the ground with her and asked if she was alright. I started crying. I asked her what happened and she said everything happened so quickly. Someone had yanked her purse so hard that it pulled her to the ground and broke the strap. She then told me that she saw "him" after she had fallen to the ground and played a very quick game of tug of war with her purse. I began looking around and through the people's legs that never stopped to see if we needed help. I thought of running through the streets to see if I could find him or my grandmother's purse but I didn't want to leave her alone. Instead, I helped her up from the ground and brushed off her clothes and put my arm through her arm just a little tighter. I got her home and made her some tea and told her that whatever she had lost today is inconsequential to what could have been lost by doing something irrational like taking justice into your own hands.
Had I actually seen the guy push my grandmother to the ground, it's possible that I would have yelled at the top of my lungs. I may have run up to him and stood in between them. I may even have tried to push him back. But these are all things that the BAD *** in us think we can do in these situations not what REALLY ends up happening.
I would have to say though, if anyone tried to do anything to my child and I was there to witness it....all of the above would be vapor. I would do whatever it takes to protect my baby.

I would be very stunned first off. I would like to say i'd catch him and beat him down, but I just dont really know if that would actually be my reaction. Its a crazy thought.
