YES!!! The Zodiac Killer got his name in the '60s. He is still at large. Law enforcement agencies are hoping that the movie might bring something to light that they were unable to uncover back then that will help them catch him... if he's still alive.

zodiac is based on the true cold, gory cases of which occurred in the bay area of San Fran sisco. " the zodiac" was a delusional psychotic killer who took pleasure in playing meticulous, layed out murders and mind games with the police man of the bay area and it's residents. the zodiac frequently wrote to the local bay area newspapers, and was featured in many of their articles, including the times newspaper as well. the zodiac was a timeless killer who instilled fear in many of the local bay residents, worrying about taking their children to school on the local bus, and even letting them or their family member walk out on the streets alone- the zodiac had become a legend, starting off with the late 1960's murder of Cherri Jo bates, and had been writing off threats of bombings and killings ever since. the film will most likely be based on many of those cases and also include the zodiac's strange, "un-crackable" codes that the police men of the bay area couldn't solve. i am definitely seeing this film!
