I love the Rocky movies. In my opinion, the 14th round of Apollo Creed and Rocky Balboa's championship fight is one of the best scenes in the Rocky movie. It moved me when Apollo knocks Rocky down and Rocky amazingly gets up....then Apollo looks on in disbelief as Rocky got up.
How great a scene is that? Are there any other scenes that rank up there? Am I completely off-base with this scene?

No it was a great scene. That fool had a ton of heart. Very inspirational if you're the type that can be inspired by a movie.
In the movie "Rudy", I still get chills when he makes that final sack & he's carried off the field. To know that Notre Dame has never done that since.

No you are not at all...I love all the Rocky movies, and another great scene from the movies is when at the end Apollo Creed and Rocky get in the ring together and spar with one another, and Apollo said "You may fight great, but I am a great fighter."

Man as much as these guys beat each other to a bloody pulp - it is a wonder they had any sequels.
but I agree with you - strength and determination is a great quality.
Apollo had to give him his props for going the distance.
