A circuit requires an energy source to operate. Humans are an organic circuit. The energy (spirit) can not operate independently of the mechanism and vice versa.
The body gives the energy direction and purpose. Much like a laptop does for a battery. Without the laptop to utilize it, the battery serves no purpose.
Why do "ghosts" only exist in dark, secretive places? Why don't we see them on a regular basis everywhere we go? It is as though the so-called "ghosts" are afraid of people.

Do you mean that you think that there are many who don`t? Those days are long gone IMO. In this day and wonderful age, when people are beginning to regrow arms lost to accidents, and where a child who was born without fingers can grow some by simply being fitted with a wooden board with a drawing of fingers on it, and a little energy work, the old programs have had the biscuit. By the way I saw this child this morning. He was about one year old and his fingers were completely operational though still only about one and a half inches long. I had been thinking about this possibility for a while so I was chuffed. He also appeared to have all or almost all his teeth.

I don't think that humans being spiritual necessarily means that there are ghosts. You could believe that when people die the spirit goes somewhere straight away or sleeps and never becomes a ghost.
Personally i believe in ghosts, but because I also believe in God i'm not really scared of them, I think I may have seen one one time.
i will be interested to hear what other people say

Some people believe you go straight to reward or punishment and therefore ghost do not exist and if you see a ghost they will tell you it is a demon. Not all believe this a great many do believe in ghosts.
The word spiritual covers a lot of things. I know ghosts are real because I have seen a couple.

People are triune, meaning that they have three parts: body, soul and spirit. Ghosts on the other hand have no body, only a spirit. Most likely the ghosts that people experience are actually demonic spirits, which are all around us. They can cause all the things that ghosts supposedly do. Of course there are also angels around us, but most people when they think of ghosts, think of creepy activities, whereas angels are involved in helping people.

I would change the question round and say that if you believe in ghosts then you are a spiritual being. If you do not believe in ghosts then you are not a spiritual being.
I do not believe in ghosts so I am not a spiritual being.
