Hi.
I'm thinking to get circumsition because I probably have an infection
and the skin on the tip of my penis is too tight. What I want to know
is how long would the recovery last and I read somewhere my penis will be very sensitve and painfull during the recovery. Because I train sports I want to know if the circumsition would be a big pain during the runing(I play Handball but not the version that is known in America but in Europe. Handball here is a very fast, agressive and dynamic sport).

You do not usually have to get circumcised because of phimosis, which is probably the condition you are describing. This is a complicated situation, and I don't want to write reams, so I'll refer you to the excellent information at http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis

The real issue with sports and circumcision is not the immediate aftermath of the surgery (which is likely to be considerably worse than the first answerer indicated) but long term. Without the foreskin your penis head (glans) rubs on your clothing, which does not feel good, to put it mildly. In fast-paced sports like handball, the irritation from this rubbing can really impact your ability to perform optimally. Please look into alternatives!

It is very sore after the operation, for probably 2 weeks. After that you may be able to play but would need to wear a box for protection
