It depends on what you mean by calculate your size. Best thing is to get a tape measure do your bust, waist, hip and inside leg measurements.

Most stores have internet shopping and will have the measurements of their sizes listed.

There is no standardised sizing guideline in the UK and as such every store produces their versions of a size 10, 12 etc; this is how you can be a 8 in one shop and a 14 in another even though next to each other they may be the same size. This is usually due to the size model the company works from and their customer demographic.

Unfortunately it's a matter of trial and error when shopping and buying the size that fits and not a 10 because you're always a 10 or refuse to go any higher; there's nothing less flattering then ill-fitting clothes.

Char- Size 0 does not always mean unhealthy! I wear a size zero because I am naturally thin. I don't even look emaciated. While I am all for people embracing thier curves, I feel America is too obese to pass judgement on thin people.

To answer the original question- I looked in a pair of jeans I got in France and the label has all the international sizes on it. US size zero and UK size 4.

Yeah a US size 0 is a UK size 4 which you can now find in many high street stores. I have seen size 4 clothes in Topshop.

an american size 0 is a british size 4

american sizes - british sizes
0 - 4
2 - 6
4 - 8
6 - 10
8 -12
10 - 14
12 - 16

and so on. i would really unreccomend that you don't go down to that size, it is very unhealthy and you can make your self unable to have children and dramaticaly shrten your life. i woild go to your GP and talk about your ideal weight. remember it's not about what the tag says in your jeans its about being healthy.

Hmmm, it rather is a perplexing question. i'm a length 8, yet i'm attempting to get returned to a length 6. i actually would not concepts what length i became, as long as i became proportionate. Which i'm no longer spectacular now. I won ALL of my toddler weight in my butt and thighs.
