I'm more submissive by nature. I want a woman who will take charge and be the strong, assertive one. I want someone who'll sweep me off my feet, won't take any b.s. from me, and will put me in my place... and yes, that includes pulling my hair and spanking my *** when need be >:)
Only recently I came to terms with my sexuality, so I haven't had a serious relationship with a woman. I am so attracted to pretty fem girls (I am one myself), but ultimately in a partner I think I'd find a strong butch woman more appealing. Is it true that in most lesbian relationships there is one partner who is more dominant and the other is more submissive? Which are you?

Am I strange for not wanting to be the assertive, strong one in the relationship, and wanting to be taken care of???

I mean personal i feel like i'm neither butch or fem. We are who we are granted. i mean people can be attracted to a variety of styles attitudes etc. I mean it seems like you want the core of your girl to be strong and able to take care of u etc. Because you are physically attracted to that aspect of a person, and its likely true that you are attracted to fem girls. Try to spot a rare but good mixture of the two.
but no ur not strange for wanting a strong assertive person that wants to take care of you.

Hey- I'm more masculine than feminine. I'm predominantly dominant, but have been in a relationship where that role was reversed and I was submissive, and I bloody loved it. My girlfriend doesn't act like a guy, because she's a girl. It wouldn't turn me on, but then neither does girlish silliness either. I like straightforward, honest people, not gender-specific roles in a relationship. If a girl is acting too manly for you, tell her, you're dating her because she's a girl, and if you wanted to date a man, you would. Depends what qualities you attribute to manly though, because there are some fine dominant, arrogant, chivalrous women out there too..

I'm femme but dominant. I could never be a butch. I like my girly stuff but I'd take charge if the relationship. More then likely though most would think I sub Because not only am I girly I'm also very small and short. :/ seriously, what I'd do to grow a few more inches.

I was actually in a relationship with a girl b4, and I was submissive, theres nothing wrong with that some women like to be in charge.... But when It comes to a man, Like my bf now, i wanna be in charge and i am lol, You can still be witha girly girl and have them be dominant...... Just depends on the person

I'm usually more dominant. Not always, though...change up is fun now and again... I don't particularly identify with either butch or femme, but my friends say I'm a "soft butch" whatever the heck that is. I dunno what makes one butch, femme or other; but personality-wise I'm more dominant for sure.
