Ludacris....his songs are always so dang catchy! I even loved "Smack My B**** Up". Go figure! I used to ride down the highway waving my arms singing that song like there was no tomorrow! You would think I would be offended or something, but nope....I love the song!

I'd have to go with The Roots. I like that they use a live band and some unique vibes in their music. Their songs aren't generic lyrics over some warmed-over remake of a 70s song.

Mine has to be 2 Pac he is just the legend of rap my reason is his for real and the words to his songs really make so much sense his just awesome! If you only want someone thats alive it has to be eminem athough he has some really annoying songs too but his also very talented and songs about life and tells it like it is :) You never said who's yours!

well my favorite singer is aaliyah, and her soft, sultry voice is just soothing, and shes just a great person all in all due to her background and what she has to say in her lyrics")
my favorite rapper is lil wayne, hes real and he has told the world that he is better than jay-z, and now i cant wait for him to prove this theory, plus i really like his performances on stage! :)

Ludacris because he can be both serious and goofy, hes always bringing something new to the game, and he does some awesome collaborations. Oh and hes hot)

Eminem. His music is really honest and not fake or pretentious. Also he has really good rhythmic abilities, and is a good writer. His words fit really well with the music, rythmically.
