PS: Giving up Gaza is nothing!
PPS: Israel seized about 80% of Palestinian land. And They are now negotiating 20% of the palestinian land. When Israel came to exist in expense of Palestinians and Palestinian land.

Who knows...As long as there is not going to be any justice for the Palestinians ,there is not going to be any peace there...
Israel is still occupying West Bank,and even though they withdraw from Gaza,they are still the ones controlling it..."Gaza residents know that significant aspects of their lives - the ability to exit or enter Gaza, the supply of medicine, fuel and other basic goods, the possibility to transport crops to export markets, the ability to use electric lights - depend on decisions made by Israel's military."
So as long as Israel is not ending its illegal occupation and allow Palestinians to have their own state and allow Palestinians refugees to come back to their land,probably this conflict won't end...

@ Anvil yours is a typical Israeli answer to a question you do not like ie by insulting the user who asked that reasonable question . This should be a site for questions and answers NOT one to throw dirt simply because you can't face the truth. Now to answer your good question > There are only 2 ways to put an end to this conflict and that's by dialog. Israel has to sit down with Hamas and concede a lot of land they occupy, lift the blockade of Gaza, put the whole od the West Bank under Palestinian control and remove all its military from that area and at least start the return of Palestinians driven out by the Zionists. A bitter pill to swallow but if Israel really wants peace then they have to swallow it. Hamas on the other hand would have to guarantee to cease all hostilities once and for all The alternative is to get the US and the UN involved to force Israel to comply with conditions acceptable to the down trodden Palestinians as in my opinion Israel does not want peace until it has occupied the whole of Palestine

When the other countries in the region stop calling for the destruction of Israel and actually care about getting peace. This could have been solved if the 2 state resolution was accepted, or when Ehud Barack offered almost EVERYTHING the Palestinians ever wanted, and Arafat turned it down. Even Prince Bandar has blamed all of the Palestenian deaths since then on Yasser Arafat for rejceting this proposal.

These folks didn't start hating each other in the last century. The history of the middle east is strife as far back as you can look. And although Isreal had been a lightning rod for violence, just look at Iraq. The Muslims don't even like each other.
There will be no end to this conflict.

I don't know exactly when, but I know Christians believe that there will be no peace in the middle east until the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is believed that the Jews will be surrounded by their enemies in the valley of Megiddo, and about to be destroyed when Christ will touch his foot down on the mountains surrounding and will redeem his chosen people (the Jews). Even though they crucified him, they are his "chosen" ones because of promises made to Abraham in the old testament regarding his "seed". At the time he comes, "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah)"

listen-the Israel/Palestine conflict will NEVER end because there are members of the Arab states who will not let that happen.
why? because 1) they NEED an enemy to blame for their failing society and 14th century ideologies. and 2) without Israel, they would need to focus ALL of their attentions on the destruction of Western society, which they know is an un-obtainable goal-for that destruction offers no open doors, no new beginnings, and no solution to the the absolute certainty of their society's devolution.

When leaders stop thinking about their own glory and start thinking about their children. Adults rush into wars that destroy childrens lives. It is sad that we cannot accept someone elses faith and it is a tradgedy that we feel the need to kill them for it. Enough people have died over land and religion, it is time to stop the killing and look beyond faith.
