It's nothing to be ashamed of IF it's only the PL that you see, and not flesh bulging out around it.
It's not as if there's anything shameful about underwear. Some grown women act as if they're in 6th grade and are afraid the boys will snap their bra straps or whisper "I can see Judy's panties!" in a meeting or something.
