i need a rabbit for a science project(im not going to harm them) but i need to know where can i buy good ones like dwarf rabbits.

If you don't find one at a pet store, call farm and ranch supply stores and see if they have any in stock. If that doesn't work, call your county 4-H organization and see if any of the kids have a rabbit project going and would like to sell you one.
What are you planning to do with the rabbit after you're done with your project? Probably you already know that it's not cool just to turn it loose somewhere.

I don't think the big chains (Petsmart, Petco) carry them, but many smaller local pet stores do. Expect to pay approximately $30 for each rabbit, plus the cost of the cage (think $200 for one that will be suitable for two to four rabbits), plus food and bedding. This will end up being an expensive project!
Alternatively, you can look online for a local bunny rescue. There are many of them throughout the United States. Expect to pay a larger adoption fee for them, though, since they will likely be neutered.

Try a fleamarket but if you try buying one a petstore and you let them know it is for a science project you may not be sold a rabbit.
You may also try some local farms.
