Turn it off, remove the battery. Let it sit for a few days. You might even want to unscrew it if its not too difficult, and open it up to allow faster drying.

It's hit or miss. Sometimes mine has come alive again, sometimes not.

Most companies don't cover water damage. When you remove the battery there is a dot, if its turned red, that signals to the company that water damage has occured and your warranty is void.

Take the cell to products ie take out the battery sim card memory card. Then wrap the diverse products of the telephone in a dry ordinary towel and put in a airing cupboard probably via a radiator yet no longer on a radiator thinking this may well be somewhat to lots. with a bit of luck this could dry up any extra moisture and the telephone will proceed to paintings completely. basically ideal good fortune

Take it out and dry it off, but don't turn it on till the inside is completely dry. If it is completely dry, then it might still work. But if you turn it on too early something could short. Or, you could get a new phone, but unless you had insurance, you'll probably have to fork out the 100 pounds again. Just keep the phone from touching your face and sprace it with a deodorizer :) Good luck.

First take it out the toilet. Then remove battery and sim card and probably cover too and leave it all until its dry - if that doesnt work do what other people have said and try and get it replaced or something. Supposedly our maid dropped her phone in the toilet and then flushed it by accident and it supposedly vanished - she is an idiot though (live in kenya and most people have maids here, most are useless though). So DONT FLUSH - even though it probably wouldnt dissapear.

I did the same thing. Felt really dumb. I completely took the phone apart (as much as I could) for two days. Then recharged the battery when it had dried. It worked okay but not the same. I eventually had to get a new one (I was up for an upgrade anyway). Check for your warranty, you should have 30 days to return the phone. Just don't tell them what happened and exchange it.

Take out the battery and let it sit till this time tomorrow.

I hope the loo was clean....

If the phone wasn't in a call it is likely it will be fine but it has to dry

take sim and battery out and let it dry out completely.i have known phones to work after water damage but its not 100% that it will work but its worth a try.If youve got insurance for it then claim on that but as for the warranty it wont cover you for accidental damage and they will know if it has been damaged through water.good luck anyway

I would first, try drying it off and see if it works. If it doesn't then try to get a new one if it has a warrenty. You can say (after it dries), that it stopped working and that you want a new one.

Check to see if your credit card offers purchase protection. Even if the phone works again are you going to put it up to your lips???
