FYI Bush is no Attorney! He was refused entrance into Law School because he was too #$%^& stupid!

That is why he evidently hates all Lawyers!

Yes, he is that clueless, but also it isn't that simple. He won't face the fact that military might isn't going to win the day in Baghdad. Until there is a political solution there will continue to be chaos. He's put us in a position that means we really can't just up and leave Baghdad. We helped create this chaos - which is starting to resemble a Mad Max movie. You think the world hates us now? I can't even imagine the blowback we'd get for pulling out and leaving the factions to freely murder each other in the streets. I agree with you that we need to get out, but we never will until we straighten out the Iraqi political mess first. Our troops are being wasted there functioning as policemen in the middle of a civil war while Al Queda freely controls the Western Provinces and terrorist cells are crawling all over Afghanistan. His priorities have been mixed up ever since he put the War on Terror in the backseat in order to attack Iraq - which had nothing to do with 9/11, as we all know now. Now we have to pay for his mistake, over and over and over and over, because he will not listen to anything but the echoes in his own head. January 20, 2009 cannot get here fast enough.

1st answerer said something about military expert.
BUSH is not a military epxert, yethe disagrees and ignores everything all other generals in the past have recommended he do.

THIS IS NOT A MILITARY fight. It should be a dimplomatic battle now. The war is over. Saddam is toppled. At that point diplomacy began...in this case thats where the problems began -- there was no diplomacy -- just tons of wasted dollars.

So idiot 100%, you support bush who just wants to create as much arguement -- like a lawyer who wants to draw out time, against the real issue -- bush intends on keeping the war going until he can hold it over to the next president -- who will begin a withdrawal, and a redeployment at the same time --

But bush cant leave iraq. So he creates this cut and run theory, of no surrender, withdrawal means defeat we cant do that to our troops.

What hes reallly doing is argueing like a lawyer -- aVOIDING THE TRUE FACTS -- which are its a civil war our troops cannot win, when taking shots from both sides, AND DIPLOMACY with IRAQ..firm dimplomacy with IRAQ, and negotiations with IRAN are whats needed right now.

Thelawyer bush..who By the way, squirmed his way out of a vietnam war, by pulling strings and getting an easy deployment in a safe no work installation, -- he failed to show patriotism there. When a 20 year old prince of britain has more b*lls and more patriotism to want to fight for his country it only shows the lack of true leadership we have in america when our own leader sidestepped true involvement in the war that would show his patriotism that no one could argue with HAD HE SERVED VIETNAM properly

No, they are not clueless; the Bush Administration makes a valid point that if we leave, the country will erupt in full-scale civil war, and that Iran would invade, and install a theocratic government as Iran has. Iran is an enemy of the US and they have been since 1979 when they captured our embassy and held our people hostage for over a year. We should have kicked their buts then!

My proposal is to redeploy our troops to the borders of Iran and Syria to prevent enemy forces from invading Iraq, and let the Iraqis settle their differences in whatever way they choose. Putting 100,000 US troops on the border of Iran would scare the snot out of those fascist Ayatollahs! The Iraqis can choose war or they can choose a government through democratic means. It will be up to them. If they choose civil war, then we sit back until there is a winner, and make peace with them.

No you are the one that is out of touch but really it's not totally your fault because you listen to the democrats and the bias media who salivate at reporting any and all new deaths of our brave solders fighting against terrorism used by Islamic fundimentalists run amuck. There are some good things happening over there acroding to some of the letters I have gotten from family and friends who are over there and posted on here. We are winning the war against terror despite what the liberals who run the democrat party are telling you. But they hate Bush more then they love this country so they are invested in defeat. If we leave without crushing the terrorists then they would take over Iraq even faster with the help of Iran gain strength at a very fast rate and soon we would be fighting them here in America. But the way you people think that is ok we deserve to loose it's not fair that U/S. is a super power and these people are just misunderstood. Yeah tell that to akmad when he crashes down the door to your house and rapes your daughter after he cuts your head off!

Put Bagdad into chaos, huh? The boy is clueless. Always has been. I wonder how bad it would have to get before he decides it is chaotic. Oh, that's right he doesn't care and doesn't have a clue. I guess we'll never know.

The trouble with people like you you only go by what you hear on the news and read in the papers. You don't bother to see whats really going on. If you talk to the soldiers over there they give you a whole different story and are in fact making video's to show when they get out so people know the true story. You actually are the clueless one because you are so uninformned.

Then don't believe him. Believe the leftist media who are saying the exact same thing about Basra now that the British are turning it over to the Iraqis.

...and it couldn't be done...

Apparently A state of chaos and dying Americans is better than a bigger state of chaos with only Iraqis dying

comes down to that really

And they are not going to be able to stabilize that country so I just sit and wait for 2008

I trust our American forces to calm the chaos a whole lot more than I trust the insurgency, Iraq's army, Iraq's current government, the middle east or random chance.

Maybe it would get worse. Maybe they will be happier with us gone. What I do know is it will stabilize. Vietnam did, even if they are Communist.
