Well, why on earth would pictures slow down your computer? Anyways you can put them on a CD if you really want too. Also, the jpeg copressor thing is crap, it just reduces the quality of you image...dont use it.

A) Make sure your PC is CD+- ReWritable compatible. If it's only +, get a CD+RW. If it's only -, get a CD-RW. If you have both, it doesn't matter... if it's nether, you're going to look for an alternative method.

Put the CD into the CD ReWritable drive. A disk should appear in your disk drive (My Computer will show a disk in one of your CD drives, depending where you put the CD).

Now, highlight the files you want to get on the CD. Then, click edit on the top toolbar of that window. Click cut. All your files should be transparent (this doesn't happen in all computers).

Go onto your CD window, click edit, then paste. Then on the left side, click "Burn Files Onto CD".

Just go through the instructions and you'll be done! If you need help, just email me. :)

Sandy, you will need to get some CD-Rs if you have a CD burner. Windows XP has built in CD burning software (if you have XP) However just put one into the CD-R drive and copy the files to the drive. Once done burn the CD by double clicking the CD icon in "my computer" and it will walk you through the steps. If you mess up you can always try again. Once your pictures are on the disk you can delete them. Good luck.

Sandy,

The disk space does not have any relation to the speed of your computer. Most likely you have installed new programs that precise more memory RAM. If you want to speed up things get memory RAM or upgrade the processor. You can also try burn your pictures in CDs or DVDs is more practical.

Just burn them to CD with a CD-burning program; once you're CERTAIN that they're safely on the CD, then you can just delete them from your hard drive.

Hi,
This is easy, just install a JPEG compressor program (download one from FULLDLS.com) and shrink all your Photo's to about 30% of there size, and don't forget to defag your hard drive after to free up all that spare space you just made. To burn them on C.D download a copy of Nero 7 from the same site which willdo it all for you.Hope this helps.

I doubt that is your problem, unless you have TONS of pictures. Anyway, you can burn them to CD using CDBurnerXP Pro.
