Outlook 2003 SP2 has "Outlook Over the Internet" options on the Connection Tab of the 'More Settings'

This will enable you to use an HTTP address for accessing mail. You will be prompted for log in credentials.

Create a new folder in your folder tree (I think any type will do, but pick mail for an appropriate icon) then right click on the icon and select properties, and the home page tab of the dialogue box. Enter the web-address of your web-mail including http:// or https:// and tick the show homepage by default box.

You'll probably be challenged for authentication every time you open the folder.
