How much do you want to spend? How old are your children? What would be age appropriate for them? "Schlepping" them around NYC is not fun for really little kids unless you are going to FAO Schwartz or can get into the Sesame Street Studios, but what do you do the rest of time with them? Children's Museum..maybe....or Lion King or Beauty and the Beast if they are older.
Someplace warm where they can wiggle their toes in the sand and swim is always fun for them at every age, so they can shed their winter clothes for a few days (especially if you are from the North...) Colonial Williamsburg is fun. Mystic Seaport is also fun; just don't torture them with a super long car ride to get there. Hershey Park might be open by that time or another amusement park with local attractions. If we knew where you were traveling from...it would be easier to help you with ideas.

I suggest the Eastern shore of Connecticut, somewhere along a river -- Connecticut, Thames, or Niantic River. The weather will be warming up by then but you can pay off-season prices. The Niantic River will have the lowest prices because few know about it. That river has the least commercial traffic on it. Check findrentals.com or VRBO.com for homes you can rent. Those sites have the most listings for that area.

you should go to new york...or California..California is full of life lets see they have Disneyland but so does Florida we've got Hollywood!! and all kinds of people good food i dont know you decide id go to new york for awesome shopping try a cruise for a family trip i went to the Bahamas two weeks ago it was great or try Hawaii

i just booked a trip to san fransisco for a four day weekend for 3 people thru priceline . It includes air are, hote, and car for 980.00 dollars, amazing!
