We all know that Brett Lee wont be playing in the world cup
Happy news for other teams but do u guys think that Lee departure from the side will make any difference and not to forget their recent 5 matches loose, do u guys think will the team would have the spirit as they had in the previous world cups. do u think that this Australian team is the strongest team in the world cup compared to other strong team

Since Australia have a strong bench strength of talented players, loss of one or two players will not so badly affect their strength. Strut Clarke selected in place of Brett Lee is a very good bowler and have performed better than Brett Lee at times.
As far as strength of the teams are considered, I feel South Africa is a well balanced and strongest team in the present world cup.

This australian team is not the strongest in the world cup, infact there are too many teams too close for us to compare. but australia is still one of them. brett lee leaving the team brings stuart clark, who i think is a smarter bowler. but the biggest blow to their chances are andrew symonds not playing. he was their most important individual an the team, even though he might play in the later stage of the world cup (if they get there).

I'm happy that Brett Lee won't play , Australia can't win this time. This gives South Africa and West Indies a really good chance to be in the final.

I personally hope that the Aussie team does not do well it is about time that the Australian team leaned some humility and to stop being to pretentious as there are at the moment.
I have stopped following the Aussies due the fact the they are so full of them selves and refuse to believe that they can do anything wrong.

Basically Ponting is about the best bat in the world and Bracken is on results one of the best bowlers. Throw in their other talent and they are still near the top. I'd say Sth Africa are probably just in front on favoritism but frankly the Ozzies have the better big match record and I wouldn't bet against them if they reach the final.
