I am going to a sweet 16 tonight for a girl from school. What is an appropriate gift to give to her? I was thinking money is always good...but how much?

A bouquet of flowers would be appropriate. If she's a very close friend, get her a necklace with a key shaped pendant (or whatever you call it). It symbolizes freedom.

Don't ever give cash as a gift.....It just invites unwanted assumptions. Try a gift card instead...If it's for a really close friend of mine, I would buy a $100 MACY'S gift card.

Depends girls really like diamonds after all it is the big 16 you only get to turn it once make it special but if you guys arent like really close i would pick money . Hope this helps

If you are very close a pin or necklace of her favorite animal. Also a stuffed animal. If your just an acquaintance then a gift certificate.

I think jewelery would be a good gift. Its a lil hard because I dont really know the person your giving the gift to, but jewelery...unless of course they are allergic to it...Maybe a perfume...of course unless they are allergic to that too...haha...

Candles. Picture frames. Or if all else fails stick with a giftcard.. $25.00. Then at least she will have enough $ for a cd or some jeans or something.
