GIGO means garbage in garbage out.

Basically that means that a computer doesn't make mistakes unless the operator first makes a mistake.

A computer will not output garbage without the input of garbage.

GIGO is the acronym for "Garbage In, Garbage Out". Basically, this would describe the action of feeding someone or something nonsense or lies and getting the same in return. That was the easy part. As for an example???? Hmmmmm. Well, with any kind of market research survey when incorrect data is provided by a respondent, it totally screws up the statistics.
