Yes, you can eat fish on Fridays during Lent. I was studying to be a Catholic priest for 6 years and left. But, I know what I'm talking about. The Church doesn't count fish as meat. You can visit my blog for cool things: www.earthking.wordpress.com

once I went via RCIA i replaced into instructed that Western custom does no longer devour fish on Friday throughout the time of Lent. different aspects of the international can provide up fish for Lent. the reason being, the West has a tendency to devour extra pork. In cultures the place fish is the biggest source of protein, this is extra of a sacrifice to offer that up.

I dont beleive that god cares if you eat meat on fridays, during lent, thats just some catholic christian belief from hundreds of years ago, Im having a big fat steak on the grill tonight

NOPE, I eat anything I want to. I am Christian, but not Catholic.

Read John 14:6... Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

What you eat has NOTHING to do with your salvation. ONLY your belief in Christ.

no not usually...i believe thats a catholic thing and i'm not catholic...however at lunch today, a whole bunch of my coworkers got fish from a church around here and it looked and smelled delicious...i want some
