how can i update the Bios of my computer. i already downloaded the update, it came as a zip file?

i use an asus mother board. i already downloaded the update and saved the file. but how can it be installed on my mother board

You need to also download the flash utility to flash the BIOS with. Then, just copy both to a bootable floppy disk and boot to it then run the flash program.
