I love this band...their music and lyrics have helped me get through some tough times in the past, but now it seems like everyone hates them. Tell me what you think...

well, they're not a band anymore..... the musicians got a new singer and became "alter bridge", if i remember the name. the singer, Scott, put on about 50 lbs, has been arrested a bunch of times, and every time i've seen him on anything, or heard of him being anywhere, he's drunk off his @ss.
i was never a huge fan of theirs, but they did have a unique sound. i'm a guitar instructor, so a lot of kids came in wanting to learn those songs, and i was sad to find out that their guitar player (tremonti) uses a lot of open tunings. thats a way of playing guitar that makes it so that you only need to put one finger flat across all the strings to play a chord. its kinda taking the easy way out.
anyhow, i think that people got sick of them when the singer started talking about religion in every interview. thats enough to turn off the majority. and music trends come and go a lot. but overall, i think if the singer would have kept himself together a little better, they'd have had a few more years in their career.

Well they have broken up , but they were good. Scott Stapp is doing a solo thing now and the other members formed the band Alter Bridge; they are pretty good , too. You should check them out.

I can still handle their first CD (my own prison- not human clay!)
Its not that their music is bad, its just after a while you couldn't get it off the radio and they started to sound kinda the same song after song. It might have been best that they split so they could all grow musically. I love Mark Trimonti (didn't spell that right)

confident there song is so astounding I definitely have each album even Scott Stapps solo albums there song spoke to me in lots of diverse techniques I advise in case you understand every physique who hasn't heard which you provide them a bite of a few CREED

They were good, but I like the band with the new lead singer better. Alter Bridge. Have you heard their stuff?

there ok... but there are a lot of better old bands. I don't like music that's comming out today

Are you kidding? Creed is great! Also LOVE Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Staind......mmmmmm.....sexy hard rock :)

I love them their cd is in my car right now. and Scott stapp's album the great divide is great
