Not sure where you are from, but all you have to do is open a magazine and see anyone famous, or rich and they are quite often dressed by Cavalli. Also, open any fashion magazine and you can't miss the ad. It's a line that is quite old, but just come into it's own in the US in maybe the last 5 or 7 years. Extremely expensive, and worth every penny that you spend if you like to be admired. My wedding gown came from Cavalli, 2 years ago, as do several other pieces and some jeans, and each piece is more like art then clothing. Again, not sure where you live that you would even have to ask.

Cavalli is a much higher line then most Americans pay for. He is very well known in the industry and over in Europe. If you ever watch the red carpet shows some celebrities will were Cavalli gowns.

It depends. Personally, I would say yes because he's become more mainstream: he designed a line of linegerie for Victoria's Secret, therefor making the Cavalli name approachable. Also, Cavalli has a cafe at the Florence, Italy, location (the espresso is wonderful).
