while i was a school, a guy i have never once talked to in my life handed me a note in the hall and asked me to read it. this kid was a little strange, short, and a year younger than me. then i went to class and read the note and he was asking me if i would be his girlfriend and go with him to some Valentine's dance. in the note he acknowledged the fact we'd never talked (i didn't even know his name) and said the reason he wrote the note was because he was too intimadated by my beauty to ask me in person.

a couple other problems:
1) he spelled my name wrong
2) the dance was the next day and school was almost over so i wasn't going to see him to tell him an answer before it was already over.
3) When i did go to school, i saw him in the hallway and he practically ran away when he saw me...so i wrote him a note back saying no the next day and he was actually kind of rude to me when i gave it to him

so guys tell me, would you ever do this? maybe you can make sense of this

dang... if he's not brave enuff to see you face to face, how the hell would he dance with ya???... But if I were you, i would be totally flattered if a guy is too scared of my beauty but then again it's TOTALLY RIDICULOUS to runaway ......if he's nervous, that's OK.. if he ran away, that's just is totally weird........

Give the guy a little credit. He mustard up enough balls to actually ask you out (but in a coward way). He obviously has a crush on you, and when you wrote him back he probably knew you were going to reject him.

Basically he's shy and has a crush on you! Have you ever had a crush? Did you ever want to do what he did?

I never did that to a girl that didn't even know me. That would just be crazy!

Sounds to me like lust and not love. No I usually talk to the girl straight up instead of giving her a note to read. He probably wanted to talk to you and never had the courage to do so, though that not give him the right to be rude if you reject him. I advice, find a boy friend and make sure the kid sees you with him. That way he'll stop being rude to you for fear of getting beat up, and will prevent him from trying something worse.

No, i never have, but ya know, the guy sounds very sincere and straight forward if not a bit confused. He is also very shy and obviously very inexperienced. I would never do it that way, thats for sure. He was so concerned about the delivery, he forgot all about the follow up, lol.

well i would never do this and it is a little strange to ask (even through a letter) when you never even talked to the girl, but it sounds to me that he is a little shy around women or maybe he just has low self esteme and didnt think he was good enough for you. but there is no need to be rude when you said no, I mean you never even talked to him so he couldn't have really expected you to say yes

I did the exact same thing once. It was for this cheerleader girl who ended up going out with some chubby punk kid after I "approached" her. Of course it was too weird, I stuck little poems in her locker and I guess she kinda freaked out and said no. It's just one of those things you do out of immaturity, fear of rejection, insecurity....and being just plain cheesy. Thankfully, I grew out of it.

he should have used more common sense if he wanted to go out with you instead of being the biggest wuss on campus. i know i would never do this, nor any other guy i know.

Would I do you? WHAT?? =o

JK! But no! I have in fact been intimidated by a woman though. Not many guys will admit to it though. A really gorgeous girl can really make you speechless.......................................
