Start taking pre-natal vitamins..you can get some generic ones at walgreens...keep in good shape...it helps with conception as well as ovulation and delivery.

I am an obgyn nurse, and I advise all patients that it's never too early to start folic acid, vitamins, and loose any extra weight you may have. Do kegel exercies to strengthen your muscles down there...and drink LOTS of water so your body will get used to having extra...so when the time comes the body will divert excess fluid to the baby when it needs it.

Water, exercise, folic acid, prenatal vitamins and leg/body strengthening workouts.

Good luck!

Make sure you are taking a vitamin with folic acid in it. This is a protective measure against birth defects. Also excerising is key to overall great health for you and eating healthy these tie intogether to up your chances for being fertile. You will feel better too and you can keep exercising during the pregnancy if you already have been working out previously. Just have fun when August comes around. Sometimes we get overly excited to make it happen and when it doesn't we loose heart and then the getting pregnant part becomes work then fun. So remember if it doesn't happen right away - just relax and have fun and it will happen. Good Luck to you and your husband. Having a baby is the best. We have three children. Rob's Wife.

The best thing to do if you are getting ready to "try" for a baby is to get yourself into the best physical condition you can. Go for an OB/GYN check up and discuss you timeline with your Dr. Also, you might want to start a prenatal vitamin. The vitamins themselves are a great source of nutrition and the folic adcid will help prevent birth defects in your baby. Make sure to eat well and exercise and don't forget to drink at least 10 8oz glasses of water per day. If you are looking to get pregnant right away you might want to start tracking your cycles and ovualtion so you are ahead of the game. Most women start trying and don't get pregnant right away because they ovualte at a different time than they thought. This will save you several months of frustration while trying to figure it out. Good Luck!!!!!

First, you might want to see your doctor to make sure that you're in perfect health and have him give you prenatal vitamins with plenty of folic acid.
You'll also want to start cutting back on things like caffine or tobacco (if you use it).
Pay attention to any over the counter medications and make sure that you put as few chemicals into your body as possible.
If you have a cat with indoor litter, make sure you are not the one to handle the box.
Good luck making your healthy baby!

You could start taking prenatal vitamins. I have heard that you want to be sure to get a lot of folic acid before you get pregnant.

Also, you should try to get your weight in a healthy range before you get pregnant if it's not already.

Good luck and congratulations!

start taking prenatal vitamins now. Get a pap smear and a regular check up. Stop smoking if you do, don't drink heavily since you won't know if you're pregnant right away. Exercise.

HAVE FUN :D

You should have a complete gynecological workup to determine your ability to conceive and carry a child.
