I believe that it would be also what a woman would hate as well it goes both ways.

Nagging and controlling! I hate having to ask for money to get gas or food when it's MY money to start with! She claims it's because I don't manage money very well, how would she know when I don't ever get the opportunity. But it's fine when she goes and blows a couple $100s on her and my son. But do I get new clothes or shoes all the time, nope! I have to beg to get new anything practically. Don't try to control every aspect of a man's life. My cell phone feels more like a leash then a communication tool. If I can't talk at work it's because I'm BUSY, that's it! But she views it as she isn't important and I don't care because I don't want to hear about how her day is going. Women tend to tie emotions into everything. Men are SIMPLE creatures, as soon as women understand that they will stop expecting so much out of us... making them not always disappointed. So, we aren't always going to know what you are thinking so TELL US! Don't expect us to just know or give little hints, just tell us and skip all the bs. Ok that's my 2 cents regarding women.

I know that men like full acceptance. I do beleive they are more sensitive than women. They can't vent to a friend or get things off their chest as where we can. Men want to be loved and even when they do annoying things...which they all do, they just want us to ask sweetly or be accepted as they are. So yes, nagging gets us no where other than hostility, why would one want to control anyway and questioning is all about all about maturity and tone oh yes..and timing. Be Cool.
Speaking from experience...this is also what keeps men from cheating. A cool, non clingy, accepting woman. Dr. Phill ( Drphill.com)is fabulous for advice.

Waking up to discover the woman you fell in love with never existed and that you missed about 3000 warning signals and red flags along the way.

To lone wolf: if she's telling you about her ex, she's telling you what he did to wind up on Boot Hill. As long as she doesn't do it all the time ... because that would mean you are rebound guy.

The biggest think I hate, is starting a new relationship, and the girl compares me to her ex, or does not trust me or judges me by someone eles mistakes. I understand people have to be careful not to make the same mistake, but I am not her ex, I am a totally different person and want to be treated as such, and given a chance to prove "myself" and not be judged by someone elses mistakes.
