A nanny in the Bahama's is caring for her. Her legal guardian is her attorney. He gets to make the legal decisions for her, as Anna's next of kin. (since she's too young to make the decisions)

She's not allowed out of the Bahama's until the paternity hearing is over because they are afraid that Psycho K. Stern will run away with her.

It is very simple; the child was born in the Bahamas; she has never left the Bahamas; close friends who Mr.Stern felt he could trust have been caring for the Child because the Judge in Florida ORDERED Howard Stern to be there for a hearing on Tuesday; and of course the parties saw to it he had to stay until the end of the hearing, so they could say how interested could he be, he is here and not in the Bahamas taking care of the child. Bahamian Law says the child is under the guardianship of the person the mother named as the father. It is that simple. This dimwit Birkhead and his even dimmer witted attorney from the Bronx, Obie or whatever her name is, just don't want to leave it alone.

The woman wanted sperm from a blond haired man and she made it obvious to him that was all she wanted. She wanted Mr. Stern to be the legal guardian.

What has made me sick is this: The so-called Mother (Virgie?). I know these people from Texas are ignorant, but can't this pathetic excuse for humanity get it thru her thick head: Ms. Smith wanted to be buried in the Bahamas with her son. She wanted nothing to do with this foul abusive and despicable excuse for a "mother" .... this woman is still abusing her daughter, even after death by refusing to allow her to be buried where the daughter wanted

Anna Smith was an Adult woman, who made a conscious decision to go to the Bahamas have a child and make a commitment to Mr.Stern, and name him as the father of that child. Pretty much says it all.

Bahamian law states, whoever the mother states is the Father, is indeed the Father. They wanted to make sure that child was cared for by someone who loved the mother, the son and the baby girl.

Not an abusive, ignorant, excuse for humanity who is always a "texas" girl. What in God's name does that mean? She didn't have the right to move on with her life and leave "Texas" .... the sanest move anyone could make if these people are any example of what REAL Texans are like.

Can't we let the dead rest in peace and get on with life.

Richard Milstein (not sure of the correct spelling) is currently serving as the baby's guardian. He is also one of the attorneys representing Howard.

Bascially what has happened is that the judge has awarded the baby Anna's body. Since Mr. Milstein is her guardian, he will basically decide (in Dannielynn's best interest) what will happen with Anna's body. If you have been following it at all this afternoon, he has decided to bury her in the Bahamas with Daniel.

Hope this makes sense for you... ;)

they put a lawyer in charge of her care- because she is too young to say what she wants, or needs. so he is acting as a parent to decide what her best interests are (including the test to see who her dad is)
they also said that D. gets to decide what happens to anna nicole's body, but since she is too young, the lawyer also decides that.

I believe that a nanny is taking care of her. She is not in the States and her grandmother doesn't have her. THANK GOD.
