I've been told that. What do you think when they say that? Does it bother you, do you take it as a compliment or do you agree that you could do better?

I've been told that before. Who cares. I love him, hes good to me. He dont beat me or cheat. Opinions are like azzholes, everyone has one. Do what you want. How would you feel if you found out someone told your spouse the same thing? You know better right? Your a good person, and your loyal. Who cares what people think!

I've been told that many times also. It does bother me because I love my boyfriend and it doesn't make him look good. Do you agree with what they say?

It's hard to know how to react to that. I usually hear it after she snaps at me for something stupid. They are never around for the apology.

I do need to see other people, but I'm crazy about her.

I've decided you should take it as a compliment. Go with that.

my spouce tells me that and then says that he doesn't know how he got so lucky....so in that sense i take it as a compliment and no i don't think that i could do better then him, i love him very much and he is well liked and loved by all the people in my/our life.......i do know that i am very fortunate! p.s. don't get me wrong we butt heads and all that other fun stuff that comes with being married.......i wasn't trying to paint an unreqlistic picture with my answer!! we are a normal, happy couple!!

I've had that said to me and i can't explain how it made me feel. All I could think is "why do you wan't me to do better because I don't want to b/c I love you" that's what is makes me think. unless your in a horriable relationship then i'd " think yeah i know i can thats why im leaving you" its all in the matter of where u r in ur relationship

No one has ever told me that, but my mom had that happen to her. Usually when people say that, it's because they want to see you break up with your spouse, b/f, etc. If a woman is telling you that, she's usually jealous. And if a man is saying it, he probably wants you for himself. Be careful; people say all kinds of things to drag you down with them.

Yes. Proved them all wrong. We've been happily together for 13 years, married for 8 & have a 7 yr old son. If it's right, it's right.
