Is it a good deal? And for one answer that I got, thanks for responding, and I hope you did use the dining package to buy the food you ate. I guess that's why they call it the dining package?

I'm not sure of what your question is, I've included a general answer about the value and some info on the dining plan itself. I love the dining plan at Disney, I get a package specifically because of the dining plan and the other plans they offer. I could do AP's, but choose to do a package for dining or the other plans. If you have any other questions, or a more specific question, feel free to e-mail me, I'm happy to help.

The dining plan is a great deal and saves most people 40% or more on their dining. I'm not sure if you will be going with children or the children's ages, if they are 10 and up the price of the dining may be a little high for you, but you should still save money. If your kids are under 10 they are only paying $11 a day.

On the dining plan, if you use it properly, you will be able to eat at some of the nicest restuarants at Disney and get a ton of food at each place. The only thing that isn't included is alcohol. When I use the plan I usually spend more than the cost of my plan just on my table-service meal, meaning my counter-service and snack are all free for the day, plus I save a little on my main meal and the 19% tip is included.

I could go on and on about the dining plan. It is the first plan Disney has offerred that is affordable to most everyone and is well worth it. I never go without the dining plan, I like it a lot.

You can go to Disney and spend less money on dining, but you won't be able to get nearly as nice of meals as you can on the plan. If you want to eat mainly hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken nuggets, you won't spend as much on your food (except for kids) but you will almost pay as much as you would for the dining plan and the meals aren't nearly as nice. The counter-service, or quick-service meals (whatever you have heard them called) are okay for a quick bite, but the food is not that great. I would say it is a lot better than something like McDonalds, but is still food you kind of expect in a theme park. It can get old after a while, especially if you like nicer meals. On the dining plan, you can just not use those and still save money.

I've included a link to one of the best sites I have found so far in regards to the dining plan. A lot of info and it helps you plan out your meals a little better. I've also included a link to some menus that you can look over.

Please e-mail me if you have questions, I go to Disney all the time and I love to help!

The dining package at Walt Disney World is well worth the cost! The California grill is the best restaurant in Disney World and it takes 2 sit-down meals from your dining plan but is worth it!

amazing!

I got it with the package i booked. Great deal you get a lot of food for you money. Please please please book you reservations before you get down there asap things fill up, plan where you want to go and which park is open late and when and book it, unless you have park hopper book whever you want to eat, cinderella castle is nice but it takes two dinnings away from you . Spoodles great place to eat! Love it there and the people are like extra nice, its on the boardwalk hotel no ticket to teh park needed for that day. There are os many places, with the dinning package i had it worked out to be liek this....
one counter meal a day (we used it for breakfast or lunch)
one sit down meal a day (we used it for dinner)
one snack a day (didnt use it every day)
it was so good!
and make sure you get everythign with each meal.
counter meals are great at the hotels i think you get more there- make sure you take your dessert with teh counter meals esp. because you can eat the dessert at another time like chips or a risecrispy treat ect. you put it in your bag for the day at the park and then you get a drink with ur snack coupon. wondeful i really suggest it fi you have any questions just get back to me
good luck and have fun there
it is ag reat place!

Disney Dining is Expensive but it is worth it! I suggest Eating at Cinderella's Royal Table. It is located in Cinderella's Castle.
