Right now, I'm using a combo of Bare Minerals and Bobbi Brown. The first is too powdery alone, the other too shiny.

My skin's not only really pale, but it's extremely sensitive (Irish curse).

So, I wanted to see what other pasty girls use! hehe.

I don't want something too thick. My redness isn't severe, not roseacea.

I use Origins' Reflection Perfection mattyfying foundation. It's about $17.50 for a tub, but it's great.

I also have very pale skin (I had to get the lightest shade they had), and I also suffer from redness around my nose, cheeks and forehead. This products works very well! I have had reactions to foundations in the past, but Origins' products are organic, and I've never had any problems with allergies or breakouts with this line.

I also dust some MAC blotting powder in the fairest shade for a little added protection. It really sets the foundation and, as an added bonus, it absorbs oils on your skin. It's awesome.

Good luck :)

I'm not pale, I'm tanned but Physicians Formula is really good. I tend to use powdery foundations more because it doesn't tend to make your skin oily faster.

Chanel precision.
They make it specially for your skin type, it works great on sensitive skin. You can take a skin diagnosis at chanel.com. It can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it!!!

I use Loreal true match because for me it stays on all day if you use the foundation and powder. And for me it's been working really well to hide any red places I have and freckels
