Why do you support the club you support?

Your club is like your wife/husband. She/he has seen better years, but marriage is forever. We cherish the golden eras and yet have hope for the future.
It doesn't matter if she/he ain't as sprightly as before, love is eternal.

My club: Nottingham Forest, twice European Champions, somethings the Romas, Valencias, Arsenals dont have. And Barcelona only recently matched.

There is a history behind a club you love. You shouldn't love a club just because they are successful or because they have one player you like or just because your dad or uncle liked that club.
I love and support Benfica of Portugal for many reasons.
#1 I am Portuguese
#2 Benfica is and always was the club of the poors competing against the rich.
#3 They have a history
#4 they could fall off the premier league and fall in second or third D for 10 years I would still support them ... because that is where my heart is.
Win or lose Benfica is My team.

I am American, but I support Paris St. Germaine, because, 32 years ago, I studied in Paris and while I was there I fell in love with soccer in general and PSG specifically. Even though times are somewhat tough now, and I don't at all like the image and reputation that PSG is earning for itself, I still support the team and live hoping for better days.

Anyway, to support Man U, Barca, AC and Inter, these are cool clubs and very good teams. Some of these play collectively, which I personally like.

ok, I support a few clubs:
1.atletico madrid-at first time I love this club 'cause there play two of my favourite players: that's F. Torres and Kun Aguero, now ,I love every about this club, way of play, coach, other players...
2.bayern munchen-it's same thing, just like about atletico, I saw Lukas Podolski, at the first time I watch theirs games just because lukas play there, but coach doesn't give him very big chances to play. For me, it's not meather, I started to wach games, when lukas don't play, and I saw that is one very good and big club. They are like one big family :) I love them
3.and finaly Chelsea-now, one of the best teams on the Earth! My fav player from Chelsea is Lampard, and coach is also great! :), uf, big text :D

My mom's native country is Brasil. She moved to the US and that's where I am now, so I support the Brasilian players. My top 3 teams are 1. Barca (ronaldinho) 2. AC Milan (Kaka, Cafu, Dida) and 3. Fulham (I'm still American, so i'm always a little patriotic. McBride, Bocanegra, Dempsey)
