for a macbook. can't find a description that states the length of the cable. All the photos make it look real short.

if its really short. How does it work? I'm assuming you still have to use the monitors original vga cables. Is the adapter a female?

The one I have is about 4 1/2 inches long.
Don't know why apple makes all their cords so short.

the general relies upon on the show and the macbook. the cable could be minidisplayport to vga (thats what I even have) yet theres different macbooks with different connections and the visual show unit in simple terms has to have a vga plug it doesnt could be apple
