Life is like a road always someplace to turn somewhere to go
something to do no matter how much you may or may not like it
the hills and mountans are it up's and downs and the dead end streets are the end of the line the potholes are and dirtroads are the harder times

In that life is a journey, the road makes a good metaphor. But don't forget the one less traveled by.

If you want to look at life like a road then always remember this

Use the proper driving rules of the road ;Golden Rules of Life
Have a foundation that is very strong ; God will direct you on your way through your potholes of life.
And make sure to ways be parked at Moms house on Sunday for Supper; living the right way

LIFE, in your analogy, would be the travel ON the road, since teh road itself is static.

But if life IS like a road, then what are the cops who pull you over for speeding, and what are the streetwalkers who get in your car and give you STDs for $20?

You should punctuate to break it up a little, keep going it is a great start. It reads like you are brainstorming! Brainstorm more about how you feel and then go back and edit what you have written until it "flows"
