Wow! I feel sorry for you! Was your teacher in a bad mood? Or is this Jeremy a teacher's pet?

I am pretty shocked by this. I would let it go if I were you. Maybe she was just having a really bad day, or a lot of people made the same innocent mistake that you did. I do that every single time! LOL.

It's okay, everyone does make mistakes, and it's not like your teacher is perfect. It looks like she is far from, if she said that to you! In a nasty manner too, huh? Not even as a joke?

Well, take my sympathy!

You obviously hit a sour note with her and perhaps she was just having an off day. Honestly you probably shouldn't respond to a teacher commenting on your work- even if you were just joking around. I would have probably done the same thing. Just the same, your teacher obviously was bothered by your comment and found it neccesary to put you back in line.

I wouldn't take it personally. Maybe she was up all night in a fight with someone or its 'that time of the month' and she's just in a rotten mood. Either way, you weren't suspended, given detention, etc. I would just ignore it and go on without thinking about it again.

If it really bothers you, why not comfront her after class and let her know that you were sorry for speaking after she did and it made you undercomfortable as well.

But again, I wouldn't think of it again if I were you. You're a good student, you takled when perhaps you shouldn't have and your teacher happened to be in a bad mood. We've all been there.

Have a great weekend and forget it every happened!

I hope this isn't the first time you've heard that you're not perfect. Big deal. No one is, not even the teacher. Quit whining about this. If you're a good student, don't worry about it. Some teachers have a sense of humor.

In your attemp to make a joke, you insulted somebody els. Your teacher might have reacted the way she did because you could have affended her by putting someone els down. She probley shouldent have said what she said but sometimes peole say things before realizing what it is that they actually said. You could talk to your teacher about it. it might help. GOOD LUCK

None of those names sound offensive in any way so in the event that they are tender adequate with you to correctly known you do no longer concepts then I see no subject with it. If a pupil did no longer like being called with the aid of a nickname all they could do is tell the instructor to thrill no longer call them that and that they might provide up.

i have had plenty of teachers like that. they're just disgruntled because they had envisioned themselves being a world-renowned scholar in their field and guest lecturers at Harvard and Yale and Cambridge and blah blah blah. instead they got stuck teaching high schoolers. i feel bad for them sometimes. so even though it was unnecessary to call you out like that, just brush it off. she's probably counting the days until she can retire.

was she trying to make a lam joke? No one should belittle anyone. If it happens again call your teacher on it and ask why she would say that.
