Well if you wear socks then you pick all the dirt from the floor or carpet , so your moving the dirt from place to place . then you will have a hard job getting your socks clean, so you´ll have to waste another 5 point´s to ask how can clean them, if you just go bare feet easier to wash your feet , but then you might stand on some kind of tack anything and get hurt so really if I were you I would use slipper´s

I would wear socks as bare feet may leave behind something that may need to be cleaned up.

If one doesn't have an innate preference (bare feet for me), there's not that much difference, surely. It may depend on the type of cleaning involved. I know one or two people who have sock tests to see if they've cleaned properly or not.
But to be a little on the flippant side, we could always consult the Ultimate Housekeeper and reply that June Cleaver always did her housework in medium-length heels and pearls...

I think you should clean your house wearing exactly what you want on your feet, after all it is YOUR house! I also prefer bare feet or a slip on sandal myself.,
I walk around the house in this manner no matter what season it is.

I clean house barefoot but then I go barefoot everywhere. It's just my personal preference, if someone likes wearing socks or slippers or shoes that'd be fine too. Why would it be 'better' or 'worse'? It's just a preference unless of course you're wearing real dirty footwear of any kind.

Is this a trick question? I use my clean house slippers. Feet have oil in skin. Unless it doesn't matter to you than you may do what ever you want, including bare naked

Invest in a pair of cheap house slippers. That's what I wear when I clean.

I wear these chenile ankle socks around the house. Really need to take care of those puppies.......they will take you alot of miles in u'r lifetime. Too much bare-footin causes callous. I've seen people with pretty gross lookin' feet. YUK
