..lots of good answers here...let me suggest to you, ..if there is something about your self /life that your unable to forgive, ..then consider forgiving your self /life for the inability to forgive it.
Some of 'forgive-ing-ness-es' primary benefits are inherent in the ACT of forgiving,.. the acceptance of it [forgiveness] is often incidental
Kindness to our 'inner' self is how we find our personal serenity,...if we are always in conflict in our own mental realms, we struggle for personal peace and quiet.

Forgiveness can be a very hard thing to do. It really depends on the situation, but if you can forgive yourself then good. Try to always look on the bright side of things.

You just give yourself permission to have made a mistake or have a problem. You are human. You cannot forgive yourself until you give yourself permission to be fallible.

Make a decision to let go of all the anger, frustration, and regret. Take valuable lessons from your mistakes; don't continue to carry the burden of guilt. It's not good for you!

As long as your remorsefull and taking steps to insure that it doesn't happen again, then you simply look at what you did ,give it its amount of dwelling that it deserves, and put it behind you as a learning tool.

take your time and make a list of 10 things you really like
