You are most likely PREGNANT! You can take a test 3 weeks after the day you are supposed to have your period.

First of all, breathe. I know this may be a stressful time but you just got to relax. Next, the ONLY thing that says your pregnant is a test, not a book, someone you've never met or even cramps (I get cramps when i eat too fast! =) ). Everyone's body is different so what might have happened to one person might not have happened to you. There are pregnancy tests out there that let you detect if you are pregnant up to 5 days before your missed period. I would take a look at the tests they sell and find one that is right for you. If you wish to wait that extra 5 days, take it on the day or a couple days after you would have started your period. If it turns out you aren't pregnant and you do have sex, maybe try a method of birth control so you don't have to worry so much about the "what if". Hope everything works out for you! Good luck.

I agree you never accidentally climax in someone, you always know when its going to happen. Its actually not easy to get pregnant, but somehow the wrong people always find a way. I think there are some tests that tell you if you are pregnant prior to your next period, but the changes for a false negative are very high. Pregnancy is determined in these tests by a single hormone found in urine. Generally the recommendation would be to wait until your next period, and if you are irregularly late, take the test and seek a doctor. In the future wear a condom if the man can't control himself. Be careful that anxiety about the issue doesn't create false impressions or symptoms of pregnancy. Cramps could just be a side effect of your anxiety.

YES, you could be pregnant. The average woman ovulates 14 days after the start of her previous period. The male sperm can live for several days inside a woman and therefore, if you have sex any time around ovulation...you could get pregnant. I would take a pregnancy test around the time that you would expect your period....and remember, just because it's negative doesn't mean you're not pregnant. Test again in a couple days if it is negative and you don't get your period. Use a condom next time if you don't want to get pregnant....otherwise, congrats if you are!!!
