What Shoes will go with my red dress?

I have got an almost full length strapless amazing red ( quite deep ) prom dress similar to the ones on the debenhams site . Im a size 6 and im about 5'6 so i dont want to look ridiculously taller . My date is about 5'10 . What colour / style shoes do you thinkk will go with it? Im really struggling . I would also apprecaite any comments on other Accsesories such as bags and jewellry . Any Ideas on Hair Styles? Thank you so much in advance x x x

Btw its a UK size 6 . NOT american size 6 !

Black flats would be adorable! But if you want to like taller black strappy heels with an open-toe would be cute too.

How's this sound for an accessories: A black plastic chunky heart necklace with gems in the center. I saw a necklace like that at Betsy Johnson if you have one near you. I don't know what color hair you have but If you have brown hair I think you should wear it down with a few open curls! Blond hair I think just down but make look very volumed with hair spray and pins!!!

go with a nice pump or strappy sandle - no ankle straps cuts your leg! and color well you can do a neutral or a mettallic and go with a 2 1/2" heel - anything shorter will look 'stumpy' and you won't tower over your date! accessories - depends but something sparkly as well without over doing it - if you have short hair or doing an updo maybe a nice pair of larger earrings (silver) or if long hair do something simple in the ears and a nice necklace - simple yet dynamic! if the red is 'deep' silver or white gold - yellow gold 'usually' looks cheap if it's not real.. and you can also find really nice beaded jewelry but i'd not get too crazy with that b/c you'll take away from the dress - it's all about balance.. small clutch for handbag .. anything dressy that will fit jus the essentials! have your stylist try you hair in a few different styles and see which suits the dress best.... have a great time!

Black or red (matching the dress' shade) strappys or pumps. Make sure you have worn them in first as your feet may get blisters or really ache on the night.

Dude you cant not wear heels to your prom, wear heels no matter what. Match the color of your shoes to your bag and accesories but no matter what don't wear red shoes cause thats too much red. Also you should curl and put ur hair to the side like Eva Longoria did at the awards a year ago...that would be nice

I'd go with the black shoes instead, I feel like the red shoes would look too matchy matchy but in an awkward way since the black broke them up. But then again I can't see the outfit so maybe it looks cute but I'd go black.

you could go with red high heels but not that high like medium or white and for your earrings you could wear white earrings a a white necklace and you could curl ur hair get it done at the salon or straightnt it it would look really awesome and ur date will be surprised on how wonderful you look :)

wear some cute flats(not gladiator flats!) and i would wear either gold, silver, white, black, or the same shade of red. whatever color you choose try to do the same for accessories.
