I often dream of opening my own fashion boutique, I love drawing clothing, and designing items of clothing. I havent got no degree in art, neither any needlework skills.. So is it still possible to start my own label? And how would i go about doing it?

You really should go for a degree, and learn to sew. You have to rise through the ranks by working for other companies before starting your own.

If you really want to try this without a degree, buy a good, fancy sewing machine with all the features, and try taking sewing classes at a local community center or something. Learn about the types of fabrics, threads, etc. Once you can actually make the clothes you design, create a few pieces as a portfolio.
Then, you have to borrow money, so you can employ people to help you out. Rent a small shop to start with, but somewhere a lot of people will pass by it, so you get noticed. At this point, you can design the clothes, pick out the fabrics and supplies, draw the patterns, and have your employees do the actual assembling and sewing.

"Someday" has some excellent points. I just want to add that you can register a company name with the government if you have one in mind. You can also check online at sites like www.godaddy.com and get a domain name for your future company. Both will cost money - but usually the amount is quite minimal. This way, you will already have the rights to the company name (label) reserved before you even start.

Good luck.
