50's and 60's the world was scared of America. Segregation is no different than slavery and is something "America" would just as soon not look at. I started school in the south the year of disegregation, and new nothing of what was the "BIG DEAL" of going to school with a black person. The first black in our class was my best friend. Guess I just didn't know any better, but he Calvin was no different than me, poor and lots of brothers and sisters.

They didn't do anything about segregation in South Africa either, did they? And I know they are doing anything about the segregation in Israel at the moment.

probably nothing, I'm not sure exactly when the UN was established right now, but.... segregation was the norm all over the world, not just the US.

Nothing. They let the US handle it.
