Would you shop at a upscale pet store named High Maintenance B itch, or would that name turn you away? There is such a place, and the name has caused some eyebrow-raising.

What do you think? Is the name a clever play on words or just insulting? Too risque for a shop name?

It's not the ***** part that gets me, I actually think that's clever. It's the high maintenance part that strikes me as weird. Who would buy a dog that is sold in a store called high maintenance? I thought people are most worried about all the work that a new pet brings, that being the case why would you call it high maintenace. There are a lot of other ways to use the word ***** in a title that would be clever and not make people cricnge at the thought of bringing hoem a new pet. What about first class *****, first rate *****, upper crust *****, loveable *****, such a *****, son of a *****, like a *****, total *****, absolute *****, or even furry *****? Like I stated there are so many other ways they could have worked the word ***** in and done it better. I would not shop there, I would think I would get a defective dog or something.

I walk by that place all the time and the sign always makes me smile. I think it's clever, and if I had a pet I'd definitely shop there, but is it appropriate to be outside, where people and their kids are walking by? I'm for free speech but I can see why people would be upset by it.

i imagine low upkeep is offensive because it really is like you're conserving "hey, i do not even ought to do some thing and it really is all reliable." it really is like he's conserving he's happy she has low expectations and that he will be lazy. for sure no female needs to hearken to about how her guy likes that he would not ought to make the attempt to be sweet to her?! i imagine i'd truly be observed as intense upkeep because then it type of falls on the different individual to be as a lot because the job or no longer. it will be an subject of having intense criteria and being a project. no longer being ordinary.

its in my opinion very funny. The guys that own this store are gay, and were featured on a Dog Show series, the name escapes me, it was about how strange Show dog owners are and there dogs. One of the features were a young, male gay couple that constanly fought and were so annoying, they bought and wanted to show this tiny Rat Terrier and didnt know the FIRST thing about showing a dog, that dog will be a totally neurotic mess. I wanted to b-itch slap the both of them throughout the entire show. One of these boys co-owns that store in california. He actually does very well and many stars use his clothing line for there dogs.

to pricey for me.
The term b itch means a female dog. So I think it is for rich female dogs and not poor ones like I have, or male dogs. I read the article and tought it was clever.

Plus watch a dog show or read a dog book and they use that term all the time.

Well depends on how you take it. Look the word up in the dictionary and you will see it says B*tch is a female dog.

I'd actually go in just to check it out. Doubt I'd pay their prices though.
