Hi there,

I taught preschool and often made this. It is very simple. Use equal parts of elmers school glue and liquid starch, which you purchase at the grocery store in the laundry section. Just pour these together into a gallon size ziplock bag and seal it and then knead it until it forms a ball. Pour out the small amount of starch that will be left and there you go. Enjoy. It is easy to make, and children can even help with the process of mixing the two together in that bag. Try using one cup of each.
