I have one, I use it maybe once every 1-2 weeks or so. It is a nifty way to keep in touch with friends no matter where they go. It is a very safe place as long as your "friends" are ACTUALLY your real-life friends, then you have nothing to worry about.

I think it's a pretty safe place if you use it right. There are some ppl that post their phone numbers and personal information, which you should never do. It's an interesting place to get in touch with old friends and make new ones, but after a while it seems overrated. Like, some ppl have 200+ friends and you're thinking, "How do you even keep track of all these ppl and do you even talk with them?"

Overall, I like it. It seems like some people let it take over their lives, but I use it mostly to keep in touch with friends and family that I don't see that often. Sure that could be done over email just as easily, but at least on Myspace there are a lot of things you can customize to really let your personality show through...

All of those little 12 and 13 year olds bug me though...

I think myspace is just a gathering ground for kiddie predators and perverts looking for sex and for married men to meet single ladies for one night stands.

no place is safe to chat when 2 out of 3 users abuse it.

i had it a few times, but then deleted it. i feel like you have no privacy in your life with that kind of website. try something like facebook where they give you so many different privacy options that you'll feel more comfortable having some info online.
