Really it depends on your attitude toward it and how you are feeling physically. I'm sure a complicated pregnancy can be stressful and seem long, especially with the worry on your mind from previous miscarriage. I was very lucky to have a healthy problem free one and even tho I found out I was pregnant at only 2 weeks time "flew by" for me. Only time that felt long for me was the last few weeks. I ended up 2 weeks late and was anxious every day for her to come!
Enjoy every day, even if you don't feel so great, remember it won't last long, and it really is a blessing you will remember your whole life.

Also about the not feeling baby until 20 weeks. Not necessarily true. I felt my baby move much earlier then that. No hard kicks but when laying still you can feel little "flutters" much earlier. It's very exciting!

The first pregnancy drug by. I could hardly wait to see my son. The second I was in so much pain I thought it would never end. This is my third and I am scheduled to deliver in 9 days. All of which I spent the last trimester on bed rest. The anxiety never ends, It will creep by. Try to find a hobby to keep your mind off of the thought of the baby. Try a playstation or knitting. Trust me, even though you want to see your child, it is best they stay in the belly as long as they can. My first was born at 36 weeks and the second at 34 weeks. It is much harder waiting for them to come home from the NICU than from you belly. Best of luck to you.

I'm the same way! I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow & I can't wait until 3/6 for the gender ultra sound. This time is going by faster than 1st trimester, but it's still slow...I feel flutters, & am starting to REALLY show...FINALLY in maternity pants...but I want to really be pregnant ya know...I want to see the movement.
I'm hoping once I know the sex, my mind won't be counting the days so much & time will go by faster!
Congrats & good luck!

Time does fly. My first child is almost 3, and now I am 3 1/2 months away from having my second child.

I found that the last trimester seemed to drag along, mostly because I was so big and uncomfortable by that time. It's all worth it though!

Good luck!

For me it's been creeeeeeeeeeping by. I'm nervous about the baby coming...so I feel like I'm not ready for the baby to come out, but I don't want to be pregnant anymore.

I'm 27 weeks and am just tired of being pregnant and I still have an entire trimester to go!

For me it's been very, very slow.

I have a two year old and am also 12 weeks preg. Once it is over it will seem like it all went by so fast. But being pregnant again I am with you I feel like it is taking forever. Anyway it all seems to go by slow for me. Have you had an ultrasound yet?

For me it did both. When I was stressing over maternity clothes and my shoes not fitting, when I had gained 40 pounds and waddled like a duck, when people were constantly asking me if I was having twins, it seemed like it was taking forever. I tried to take it easy and savor it, but it seemed like one day I was peeing on a stick and the next I was holding a beautiful baby boy in my arms.

It feels like it takes forever when you are going through it - but once it's all done and you look back, it will seem like it flew.
