Does Battlefield 2142 have widescreen support?

I have heard people say that it does,and other say that it doesn't. I'm going to be building a new gaming rig here soon(my laptop isn't going to be able to handle the game) and I was planning on purchasing BF 2142 when I'm done. I was going to get a widescreen monitor if the game supports it, otherwise I'll just stick with a 19". Thanks!

Well, I, myself don't have a Widescreen monitor, but I had a friend who did have a 'wider-than-usual' monitor. I think that you should just go to ea.com and ask for support on that.
