Ok, so we're having a hard time to decide on a name (its a boy). "Daddy" is John William the Second. though neither of us wants a John William the Third, we've toyed with the idea of a name that means John - NOT Jack, that is the dog. I know Jean in French, which I don't like. Giovanni in Italian, which I do like. Now usually "Dad" is called Johnny, which would be Gianni in Italian, also, very cute. Anyone have any other names that they know if, language not important here, that means John?

I would tell you to go with Ian. It is an old or middle english form of John.

Don't have any suggestions, other than I like Gianni. It's a good Italian name.
