It is good but it is on UKGold all the time I must have seen every episode loads of times, I also like only fools. The BBC are not producing any comedy's these days like they used to. The quality is appauling. There was so many great comedy shows in the 70's,80's and 90's even but not there is nothing.. just repeats of repeats of repeats!!!!!! that we have all seen 100 times. The only decent comedy stuff to be found now-a-days, is the occasional one off on ITV... and the American comedies brought to our screens by the delightful people at ABC, Sky1, E4 etc etc. I especially like Hope&Faith, 8 Simple Rules, Scrubs. etc etc... but new British comedy (especially from the BBC)... FORGET IT!!!

Yes, I LOVE Dinnerladies. I also love Red Dwarf, Keeping Up Appearances and Fawlty Towers. Such comedy never dies.

Victoria Wood is the Goddess of comedy.
I first saw her in 'An Audience With...'
Since then I have tried to get every video and DVD of hers.
As Seen On TV is just brilliant, and her partnership with Julie Walters is sublime.
I liked DinnerLadies. It was gentle humour, and yet politically quite aggressive.
I think Victoria Wood is a National Treasure.
Consistently funny, yet not afraid to do serious and provoke tears (Margaret and Pam)
I adore her, and anyone that can make jokes about the Mr. Men, and bottoms accidentally brushing against computer keyboards in order to create Mr. Men books has to get a huge thumbs up from me.
And then there's 'Live With Pam'
It's just genius.
"I need pastry. .."
or
The shoe shop
"There you are - flatter now"!
or
"Two Soups....."

Yes I actually do, missed it the first time around, catching on SKY of late. Its rather dated but this adds to the charm.

I also like Fools and Horses, Ab Fab, Vicar of Dibley, I hate alternative comedy.
